Watching the Clouds

Oh! What a lofty goal

to sit and watch the clouds

float by.

Taught to always hurry,

to go and to do,

use your time wisely

and you’ll be someone too!

But I have no desire

to be measured by man,

to count my possessions

or be judged by professions.

Thus,

I come to Nature

leaving society far behind

and I sit and I watch

the clouds as they slowly

float by.

In their grand performance

I find the all the secrets

of this beautiful life.
